The next morning, February 3, at 9:30 we will serve the Divine Liturgy for the feast. The account of the meeting of the Lord in the temple is told in <a href=\"http:\/\/bible.oremus.org\/?passage=Luke+2:22\u201340:22&amp;version=nrsv\">Luke 2:22-40.<\/a>\u00a0Jesus is brought by his earthly parents, Joseph and Mary, to the temple to be offered to God as was the custom.
